DB7 GTA Description

In production: October 2002 – September 2003

Chassis numbers: Within the Vantage series 303816 - 304447

The GTA was announced at the 2002 Birmingham Motor Show (although not shown on the stand) with a 5 speed Touchtronic gearbox as standard and with the engine in normal Vantage 420bhp tune. Apparently the Touchtronic gearbox was unable to cope with the additional torque and power of the full GT engine. Other than the gearbox, engine output and badges, the GTA was identical to the GT.

The GTA is even rarer than the GT with just 112 examples built, 71 of which were RHD; of the LHD cars, 17 were sold in North America.
